StechLaw Criminal Defense Law Firm Announces $1,000 Merit Scholarship for Legal Students
TAMPA, FL, April 22, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ — StechLaw Criminal Defense, Tampa-based criminal defense law firm, has a long history of giving back to the legal community, through mentoring fledgling attorneys and providing pro bono criminal defense services. Now, our attorneys seek to help post-graduate and graduate students pay for their education with the The StechLaw Criminal Defense Justice for All Scholarship. The scholarship is open to undergraduate and graduate students whose academic studies and career plans focus on helping those without a voice and supporting the rights of all.
The ideal scholarship candidate will be in academic good standing with an accredited college, university, or community college, and maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated leadership skills and a passion for serving others. While candidates who want to practice criminal defense law are preferred, we recognize that the spirit of helping others in dire need can take many forms, so we look for candidates studying a variety of disciplines, including social work and other fields of the law, who share our firm’s core values and mission.
Supporting justice, advocacy, and creating positive change in the community, whether it’s the City of Tampa or your local neighborhood, can be accomplished through academic success and the application of tools and legal education provided. As advocates for giving people second chances, we also consider applicants who have demonstrated overcoming adversity and making a positive change for themselves.
