New Subscription Box Helps Emergency Medicine Clinicians Sharpen Life-Saving Skills

Dr. Jason Hine founded SimKit to give clinicians a quick and easy way to retain their skills in these procedures. As a community-based emergency medicine physician, Dr. Hine took it upon himself to gather notes and find ways to practice his procedural skills.

Along with their portable, easy-to-use simulation models, SimKit comes with a digital curriculum that was designed in short 30-minute spaced repetition sessions to fit into the busy clinician’s day. Training can be done in the home, office, or hospital. They built their curriculum using evidence-based cognitive science to ensure that the lessons are easily remembered, even in the high-stress environment of the emergency department.
